SUMMARY
The app initially began as a networking app for university students. The founder was looking to change the direction into a social learning app for university students. It was a profit with purpose that aimed at addressing the market gaps of the growing issue of Gen Z's mental health and also the lack employment skills of university students that are required for graduate jobs.

INITIAL WIREFRAMES WITH BASIC USER FLOW
I began redesigning the current app's features and refining the existing wireframes provided by the founder and creating a user flow for the same.

ONBOARDING A NEW USER

SOCIAL BUBBLES FOR COMMUNITY BUILDING
These features were the important for the community building goal of i2i. The previous design of the social bubble did not allow for users to interact on the app with each other but just allowed them to host bubbles in their city. An additional audio bubble function was added to help in building a virtual community and host discussions within the app.

PLACEMENTS AND SKILLS

Premium users can join groups before their placements or internship for peer to peer learning and shared resources to make them employment ready. They can also join workshops for soft skills such as leadership, communication etc.

They can also track their skills on the app and be provided with recommendations according to the skills that they are lacking in. Participating in Sprints to improve their skills in a short period can also earn them reward points that can be exchanged for vouchers or membership renewals.
MENTAL HEALTH
On the app, users can record their daily mood as well as their goals and challenges. According to their mood, they can journal about the highs and lows. They could receive support from the community if they made their mood public by sharing it on their profile.

NETWORKING AND ADVANCED SEARCH FOR PREMIUM USERS

Users can build connections and chat with the people they are connected with. This prototype shows the flow for sending a message to a new connection

Premium users can make use of an advance search to find users within their university, degree, year of study or skills.
